FOUR YEARS AGO
Nick: It was four years ago that I asked people in this very room to raise their hands if they were diabetic. I raised mine, too, telling the world for the first time that I had the disease. Then, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t let diabetes slow me down… and five years later, it hasn’t.
